In sports, the company partners the French Golf Federation and has also been a sponsor of the the French Handisport Federation since January 2003. A symbolic date, since 2003 was declared ?European year of disabled people'.
But Société Générale is also an Official Partner and Ticket Distributor for the 2007 Rugby World Cup. The Group's very first sponsorship initiative dates as far back as 1984!
Commitment to solidarity
The Société Générale group mainly gets involved in the area of workplace integration. It also helps disadvantaged children, and conducts programmes in support of education and the disabled.
Music and contemporary art
Finally, the Group has a tradition of financial support for classical music dating back to 1987. It also has a significant collection of modern art.
