GET TO KNOW THE SOURCING DIVISION

The Sourcing Division ensures the permanent search for the highest sourcing performance with regard to the management of the Group’s operational risks. Its teams handle processes with high functional and financial stakes and aim at optimizing the relationships with our suppliers on a global scale.

Figures and teams

 

    Over 1 800 recommended suppliers
   3 sourcing domains to cover 70 categories including 139 products and services purchased.
    49 identified products / services are subject to special Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) measures
    5 billion Euros of sourcing spend managed per year (3 billion for France)
    52% of IT spend, 25% of spend linked to the banking business (e.g. monetics) and 23% dedicated to Services (e.g. Travels, Marketing)

   70 buyers based in Paris who specialise in specific sourcing domains (IT domain, Banking domain, and Services domain) work in collaboration with the Group’s operational representatives. These buyers: 
  • operate at global level
  • keep up to date with market trends and thus contribute to defining the Group’s requirements
  • define and run the Corporate Sourcing policy
  • list recommended suppliers
  • negotiate financial contractual terms, sign contracts and ensure their implementation
  •  watch over the quality of products and services supplied

  1 International Development Domain, in charge of enhancing and developing the contribution of the local sourcing organizations to the management of supplier relationships, to the optimisation of local spend and the Group’s operational efficiency plan, by providing them with the necessary operational support.
The three main missions of the International Development Domain are to:
- Structure the sourcing function in new countries
- Accelerate the integration of teams in the International Sourcing Function
- Contribute to the international development of the sourcing domains of the Sourcing Division

   30 buyers based abroad, in the major Group international locations, (USA, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania…). They are in charge of sourcing for a given geographical area. To this end, the International Development Domain provides the teams with: guidelines, tools and processes, best practices and benchmarks, common suppliers and expert support.
