Société Générale Group, notably in
capital-guaranteed products and alternative management. Centres of
expertise that span the Private Banking network, ensuring that the
best products available on the market are selected. In October
2001, SG Private Banking expanded its European service offer with
the acquisition of Banque De Maertelaere in Belgium and, in 2002,
created SG Private Banking Japan following the acquisition of Chase
Trust Bank.
In 2003, the Group went on to acquire Compagnie Bancaire
Genève.
At 30 September 2006, assets managed amounted to
EUR 65.9 billion (EUR 59.4 billion at end 2005).
