- Warrant »
- financial instrument conferring to its holder the right or the obligation to acquire (option to buy or "call warrant") or to yield (option to sell or "put warrant") underlying assets at a given price, at the due date or during one defined period. A warrant is always issued by an investment bank serving as market maker.
